Balaji Nallathambi R (born 01 January 1993) is a Indian writer(Tamil), poet, journalist, and social reformer from Tamil Nadu. Popularly known as "Bala thasan", he was a pioneer of modern Tamil poetry and is considered one of the greatest Tamil literary figures of all time.

Born in Singarapettai Village in 1993, Balaji had his early education in Singarapettai,and worked as a GUEST RELATION EXECUTIVE many Hotels in India.Balaji also an active member of the DMDK.

Early life

Balaji N was born to Nallathambi R and Vijaya N as Balamurugan on 01 January 1993 in the village of Singarpettai. He was educated at a local high school called The government higher secondary school in chitheripattu. From a very young age he learnt music and at eleven, he learnt poetry. It was during this time that he was conferred the title of "thasan", the one blessed by Kannathathasan, the goddess of learning Through his great efforts he learnt 3 languages (2 Indian languages and 1 foreign languages).

WORKS

BALAJI is considered as one of the pioneers of modern Tamil literature.BALAJI used simple words and rhythms, unlike his previous century works in Tamil, which had complex vocabulary. He also employed LEMON TREE GROUPS & PARK AVENUE GROUPS.

"இன்னும் இன்னும் அகலமாகும் கைகளுக்குள்

வானமும் மிதக்கிறது அனாதையாய்...

யாதுமாகிய சாவும் யோகியாகும் தருணமாக தத்துவம் உதிர்க்கிறது...

நிமிர்ந்து எழுந்து அமர்கையில் நீட்டி முழங்கி கிடக்கிறது

நீர்த்துப் போன நினைவுகள்.... தேங்கிய போதையின் திடீர் கலைதலாய் பார்வைகள்...

                   மாதுவை காதலித்து மதுவை கரம்பிடித்து பித்தனாகி போனவன் நான்"
